“Instead of being able to rely on employees working additional hours, businesses will have to ensure workers limit their hours. Many may have to consider recruiting more people to cover the same workload. Businesses that have made staff reductions might face the possibility of being forced to recruit employees to bolster a workforce which can only work a set number of hours each week.”
