What: Closing date for entries to the 2010 West Kent Business Excellence Awards
The West Kent Business Excellence Awards are designed to recognise business leadership and achievement in West Kent and provide a platform upon which success can be celebrated.Any business or organisation with a presence in West Kent, either in the public or private sector, is eligible to enter and there is no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted.
Loch Associates is please to be sponsoring these important Awards and Pam Loch is excited about judging the Employer of the Year category.
The closing date for entries is 30 June 2010 and there will be an awards presentation dinner at The Spa in Tunbridge Wells on Thursday 21 October. The evening will start at 7pm with a champagne reception followed by dinner and the awards ceremony. After the ceremony, guests will be able to celebrate and dance until midnight.

What: An exclusive after hours shopping event
At these invitation only shopping events, guests were able to enjoy drinks and canapes whilst browsing the Fulham branch of independent ladies boutique, Kit and 20th Century Frox.The evening began with a short talk from a professional style consultant, where guests were then be able to browse at their leisure and/or enjoy a personal shopping experience with shop manager, Lena Chanca. The founder and owner of Kit, Alan Traub, was also on hand to offer guests an exclusive 20% discount.
The event was a huge success and three lucky guests were picked out of a prize draw to receive vouchers to spend in store.
Kit stocks a variety of women's clothing, shoes and other accessories including designers Oui, Nougat, Avoca, Sandwich, Turnover, Laundry (Perry Ellis), Jackpot, Pretty Ballerinas footwear and Unisa footwear.
Saturday 15 May 2010 - 60km Sponsored Walk
When: 15 May 2010 from 8.00am to 1.00am Sunday 16 May
Where: Goodwood, West Sussex
What: A 60km sponsored walk to raise money for the London Wildcare Trust
The London Wildcare Trust runs a hospital which Zoe (pictured to the right) volunteers at, in addition to her full-time and part-time jobs. The London Wildcare Hospital is one of the largest and busiest professional wildlife facilities in the UK caring for sick and injured wildlife. The charity also cares for a range of resident wildlife which can't be released back into the wild.
Loch Associates is very pleased to have helped Zoe beat her target fundraising amount, which totalled £1,000!

What: Mock Tribunal, networking, drinks and canapes
This was a rare chance to witness a simulated Employment Tribunal hearing in action, based on a real-life case and with the involvement of real barristers from Henderson Chambers. Our guests had the opportunity to see how the process operates first-hand and ask a variety of interesting and challenging questions.
Particularly for those who have had the good fortune to never attend an employment tribunal, we think everyone agreed this event reinforced the desire to avoid the tribunal process.
Sunday 11 March 2010 - Sponsored Dog Walk
When: 11 March 2010 from 10.30am to 1.30pm
Where: Beddington Park, Surrey
What: A sponsored dog walk to raise money for the London Wildcare Trust
Chloe and Molly were featured in the 23 April 2010 edition of the Kent and Sussex
Courier. The London Wildcare Hospital is one of the largest and busiest professional wildlife facilities in the UK. It costs in excess of £180,000 a year to keep this hospital going and to look after sick and injured animals. The charity relies entirely on public donations and heavily on a dedicated team of volunteers. Loch Associates is proud to be a sponsor of this worthwhile case.
