Pam Loch
Founder of boutique employment law practice Loch Associates, Pam Loch is a dual qualified lawyer with extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious employment matters having acted for employers and employees and advising on all aspects of employment law. Both during her time at previous firms such as Eversheds, and through Loch Associates, Pam has advised fully listed plc’s, AIM listed plc’s, private companies and individuals. Pam acts for many law firms and lawyers as well as other professions and sectors. The matters she has advised on include:
- All forms of documents governing relationships in the workplace including service agreements, contracts, handbooks, policies and procedures
- The termination of senior executives and other workers and enforcing restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations
- Discrimination in the workplace
- Dealing with disputes with workers and industrial disputes involving trade unions
- Information and consultation in the workplace
- TUPE and cross border issues
- Pension disputes
- The employment and pensions implications of restructuring businesses
- Mergers and acquisitions
As well as conducting her own advocacy in Employment Tribunals, she has also acted for clients in proceedings in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court. Pam is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association; she is also an accredited mediator. She regularly contributes to articles in newspapers and other publications and she also appears on television and radio shows.
Pam was highly commended in the "Best Woman Solicitor Managing a Small Practice" category at the Association of Women Solicitors Awards 2009.
Pam is also the Managing Director of HRAdvise.Me Limited providing HR support and training.

Chloe also brings experience of project management, gained through managing and supporting the roll out of global wide web-based projects for a major multi-national corporation. Prior to becoming qualified she also worked in income protection insurance and on re-insurance claims for two key insurance industry players.
Sophie Applewhite
Prior to joining Loch Associates Employment Lawyers, Sophie worked at the Free Representation Unit advising and representing clients at Employment Tribunal hearings.
Sonia Parsons
Sonia recently joined HR Advise Me as an HR Consultant and is also engaged by us as a Consultant Employment Lawyer. She worked as a solicitor in Bird & Bird LLP's Employment Department between 2003-2009, after training and qualifying at Herbert Smith LLP in September 2003.
In her legal role, Sonia advises on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. Her experience includes drafting contracts of employment, staff handbooks and advising on executive terminations. She has also been involved in advising clients on employment tribunal proceedings concerning unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistle blowing and victimisation and has also advised on numerous business sales and purchases.
Sonia also has experience in identifying and solving a broad range of HR-related issues and in delivering custom-made training to clients, either as a pre-emptive measure or following specific needs or requests. Whilst on secondment to a major client in 2009, she also experienced first-hand the practical HR implications and challenges of working in a busy in-house environment.
